I have a deep admiration and love for music, performing, and teaching. I began singing Musical Theater and Sacred Music, later I developed a love for Opera. I performed in Concerts and Operas in various places in the United States and Europe. I have a Bachelor Degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Music Degree from the University of Oklahoma both in Vocal Performance. While at Oklahoma, I received the Thomas and Carol Carey Award, presented, annually, to an African-American Student, who excelled in the field of vocal music. I attended the prestigious American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, and was selected to sing for world renowned Mezzo-Soprano Marilyn Horne.
